With binoculars we saw rhinos from our room. The only possible complaint was that the bathroom did not have shampoo and conditioner which was a bit of an issue since we were traveling light on safari. Bathrooms are so ancient and worn out that Motel 6 should be offended if I compare conditions of the rooms at this lodge to Motel 6 a few decades ago...Restaurant was like a chow hall and the food was accordingly miserable. Local points of interest include Lake Magadi. Late check-in is available during limited hours.
