62g - Transparent, PCB Mount [Tactile, non-clicky] 65g - Transparent, PCB Mount [Tactile, non-clicky] Just got some Zealios v2 52g and im super excited to put them in my board. I like rubber dome keyboards but mine is a bit too light to use without like spending extra time to get used to it. I'd say he gives lubing them a try..I lubed my V2's with 3204 and the different is really noticeable. I'm not saying they're exactly the same just pretty similar in the feel as far as tactility goes. I do recommend them they are nice.Rubber Domes are resistance till the collapse. - ChucklingKumquat. I still enjoy it, but it's not really what I'm looking for in a mech.I could see it...difference being in a year or two or three, those rubber-domes will stiffen and hurt your hands trying to type on.At my last workplace years back, I had to borrow a coworkers Mac Pro workstation once...they hadn't replaced the cheapo dome keyboard in at least 5 years. Am I alone on this one?

?I would say it's worth lubing. I have the lube for them but no switch opener. Zilent V2 switches come in 4 variants. The name is annoying but you know plum84 or whatever.I personally love sliders over dome keyboards but i want to move up to topre. Tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top. 78g Zealios - For those that prefer a slightly lighter MX Clear, but want a bigger and smoother bump than MX Clears / Holy Pandas. Should i lube Zealios v2? I also was lucky enough to win some tribosys 3204. Lubing is extra work for a switch already too silent and smooth.Lube definitely helps the sound and feel of them, though imo.
I have a TKL with Zealios and this was my first thought as well, it just feels like a nicer rubber dome keyboard. 35g domes which is quite lightweight and semi practical. I recently lubed the zealios with 3203. Slightly new to the keebs obsession but I've tried a few different switches. I wonder now if I only long for tactile feedback because I've been conditioned to look for it. That parts not quite important as I think my observation remains the same whether lubed or not.I found myself going into the switches realm looking for a tactile feedback and at first i didn't really know why I wanted that. Just got some Zealios v2 52g and im super excited to put them in my board.

I kinda liked it and it reminded me of my zealios switches. I also was lucky enough to win some tribosys 3204. Specifically cherry browns, halo clears, a knock off cherry blue (on the budget red dragon board), and now my zealios v2 67g. Slightly new to the keebs obsession but I've tried a few different switches. It nearly took a hammer to actuate every single key.Hi, it appears you may be new to this subreddit! Anyone else have a similar experience or opinion?I understand your feeling. I haven't heard of anybody using 3204 for stabs, 205/Dielectric Grease/Super Lube/Teflon Grease are what is most commonly used for stabs.Try them without lubing in a switch tester.
Dampener has been redesigned, tactility has been improved as well. Just recently i used a cheap old dell rubber dome keyboard and was surprised at how tactile the feedback was. So not surprised in a really tough membrane they might feel similar. Do you guys think the time sink is worth it for the zealios, or should i save the 3204 for stabs and future linear builds. They are rated at "bottom out" force, not actuation! Stabs were factory lubed however I will probably fix the backspace because it has abit of rattle still.

Im currently using dry mod-m switches and i think they are good enough for me. Though I am not sure the Membrane is supposed to feel quite like that.Keyboard lovers Clicking and Clacking in a content rich, friendly place.

I recently lubed the zealios with 3203. That parts not quite important as I think my observation remains the same whether lubed or not. And get heavier domes. Zealios is basically 90 Tactile, As soon as you start to press till well after you actuate their is the Tactile resistance. Heavier domes can get very tactile, though its not the same thing as a mechanical switch the tactile event is earlier in the key stroke, if your looking for the most tactile switch try box navy or box royal purple.I don't think zealios are the most tactile switch but i only have one so i cant say for sure.
