There was a great "Treasure Hunt" activity that the kids loved which allowed us time to read all the information! Rob was an excellent guide.I rate this a first class experience and a great addition to the upbeat mood that is in the Belfast of today. The outside of the building is very striking, angular faceted shapes of what looks like stainless steel. There is ample parking underneath (though the bays are a little narrow) and this leads straight up into the entrance area. After some introductory displays on first floor a lift took us to the top and soon we had the opportunity to take a ride through a very lively reconstruction of key elements in the ship building process, feeling the heat of furnaces and the noises of riveting as we passed. Although already open for a couple of years it all looks very fresh but I was little concerned to find one or two sections out of action. Titanic Belfast is the world's largest Titanic visitor experience and a must-see on any visit to Belfast and… Crumlin Road Gaol. Outdoor Only Tour The Discovery Tour is a unique walking tour which perfectly complements a visit to the Titanic Experience. Overall I was delighted that someone has had the drive to see this project through to such an excellent conclusion. The museum provides a respectful tribute to the people of the Titanic as well as genuine national pride of the people of Belfast. The telling of the story of shipbuilding in general and the Titanic in particular was very well done. Favourite bit was the viewing carousel ride telling ho the ship was built.Very good walk round, lots of information and interesting, however a little expensive for what it is.Something for all ages really good modern museum children can interact and learn about a city historyIncredible museum located in an area rich in Irish history. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent visit to Titanic Belfast - it's something we greatly appreciate and listen to when reviewing our overall experience. Ulster Museum. Discover a place of enchantment. Overall I was very impressed, at first with the scene setting, including Belast's meteoric rise in population and industrial expansion throughout the 19th century, especially the linen and light engineering industries. The interior is a terrific design, very complicated, but as visitors we found it very easy to navigate through the one-way system. Such things need to be attended to promptly. It was excellent for both adults and children. I can only apologise that you felt that the Discovery Tour was disappointing, but am happy to hear that you enjoyed the exhibition itself. Not cheap, but an interesting experience.
There is a lot to see. I would suggest a minimum of 3 hours. We are two pensioners but loved it so much that we immediately went back to the start for another go!! You need a full day. Information and content within the museum was fascinating and presented in many interesting ways to suit all museum goers. This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.TitanicBelfastTeam, Visitor Experience Team Leader at Titanic Belfast, responded to this reviewThis response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of TripAdvisor LLC.Points of Interest & Landmarks, Government Buildings, Architectural BuildingsReview tags are currently only available for English language reviews. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.Titanic Belfast Entrance Ticket: Titanic Visitor Experience Including SS...Giant's Causeway, Titanic Experience and Dark Hedges Day Tour from BelfastThis review is about the Discovery Tour, not the Titanic permanent exhibition.
